A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Donna Davis comes from a family of professional artists. They taught her to always appreciate her surroundings and view the ordinary in a different light. This inspiration, nurtured through a lifetime of hanging out in art studios always whispered to her. After attending Tulane University, she answered that calling by following in her grandfather’s footsteps and developing her own career in the arts. Training under master glass artist, Andrew Young for many years she has developed a passion for working with glass.
Donna creates one of a kind pieces that replicate unique shapes and colors, glass is the perfect medium for her creativity. She is fascinated not only by the beauty of her art as it is created, but also by the ability of each piece to take on a life of its own as it captures the light of its surroundings, causing it to look different in each environment where it is displayed.
Embedded in every piece is Donna’s love for her work and her attention to detail. She hopes you enjoy the colors of life found in her art as much as she enjoyed creating it.
